As a trauma specialist and EMDR therapist, Kari specializes in helping individuals process and heal from trauma and PTSD. Her years of training and experience also helps individuals overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, stress & burnout, work related issues, and more.

Kari also specializes is family therapy, guiding families to better understand one another, improve communication, resolve conflicts, process grief, and enhance the health of their relationships.

Kari places a strong emphasis on the therapist-client relationship, dedicating time to understand you holistically, and the many intersecting roles and identities you may hold; you are much more than just a person facing struggles! Kari is also an avid reader and loves to lose herself in a good book - fiction, non-fiction, anything goes! When weather allows, you can often find Kari exploring the parks and pathways around Calgary, and tending to her backyard vegetable garden.
