Most people have experienced challenges in their life – whether it be traumatic event(s) and/or wounds from some of our most important relationships- and it is normal to feel stuck, lost, or confused as result of what we have experienced. People have the resources and inner wisdom to heal and by working together we can integrate those painful experiences so they do not remain in the present causing emotional pain and disturbance.

I embody a calm and approachable nature as I believe that profound healing can happen in the safety of a therapeutic relationship. I also hold a holistic approach to well-being and I believe therapy is just one part of that. Most people can benefit from counselling whether it is a weekly commitment or monthly check-ins. Together we can explore not only the issues you struggle with but also the things in your life that bring you a sense of peace and contentment. We will build on your strengths and what you are already doing to increase your well-being.

My comprehensive training in both cognitive and somatic therapies allows me to work with people who have experienced trauma, whether it is single event trauma or repeated traumatic events spanning over months or years. I use an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing on my training in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy depending on your needs and goals for therapy.
