More About Carson

I am a loving partner and father to a wonderful toddler and beautiful baby girl – something that is hard for me to believe at times given my past in a very abusive relationship.

Through the process of attaining my education, I worked full time in the trades; through this difficult time, I discovered many of the challenges I faced were due to ADHD.

These experiences and challenges allow me a great deal of empathy for others that are suffering and provide a bright light of hope; as I have overcome such challenges, so can others, in the right environment. My religious upbringing has also inspired me to value the role spirituality plays in people’s lives and has instilled in me a sense of curiosity to learn more about the world we live in and the people that surround us.

In my spare time, I enjoy activities with my family and friends; I particularly enjoy fantasy themes – whether they are in books, movies, or games. I also greatly enjoy the “wild” outdoors. As I grew up near wooded areas surrounded by lakes, I feel drawn to explore the wild spaces Canada provides, and as my kids become of age, I hope to take them on such adventures!
