Signs of Distress
It is normal to experience distress from time to time, but if it becomes a chronic and persistent problem you may be struggling with a mental health issue. Some indicators are persistent worrying, angry outbursts, excessive crying, mood swings, withdrawing from friends or family, intrusive thoughts, and a loss of interest in things you once enjoyed. Furthermore, mental health issues can cause physiological issues such as insomnia, weight loss or gain, indigestion, headaches, chest pain, and nausea.
